Next Monday, I will complete a year in which I have firmly established myself in the ways of the Lord. Since then, I wanted to know him as intensely as possible. So I dedicated myself so much to having experiences with Him.
In a year, I think I’ve grown a lot more than I imagined. I made a daily routine of devotion to Christ. This has brought me innumerable truly amazing moments that have proved to me more and more the fidelity and greatness of the God I serve. In this intensity, I endeavored to serve at all times, and in all circumstances.
Slow down!
Trying to offer too much, at times I began to feel spiritually exhausted. Until I heard God telling my heart that I should have moments of deceleration. Moments when I saw the Holy Spirit using two totally different people at different times to say that God was trying to fill me. But through my actions I was closing my heart and not fully feeling the love of God.
From a few months to now, with God ministering daily to my heart the word “slow down”, I began to realize better that He gives us the earth to enjoy as we watch over it and we also establish the Kingdom.
Psa 115:16 The heavens are the heavens of the Lord, but the earth gave to the children of Adam.
If even the Lord, who is sovereign over all things, thought it was important to rest after all his work in creating the universe, why should I, a mere mortal, not do it?
Gen. 2.2 On the seventh day, God had finished the work He had determined; that day he rested from all the work he had done.
Enjoying!
I decided then (and I leave this as an incentive to all the brothers who have lived in the same intensity of servitude) enjoy what God gives us in our earthly life.
The average man seeks happiness and its meaning throughout life. In reading the Bible, however, we have this definition as very simple. To which sometimes, with so many things, we stop trying.
Ecc 8:15 Therefore I advise you to enjoy the best that life can provide, for under the sun there is nothing happier for the human being than simply eating, drinking, and rejoicing. This is the happiness that will help us to overcome the difficult days of work during all the life time that God gives us under the sun!
Solomon, in his full wisdom, said that simply eating, drinking, and rejoicing brings us happiness. And it is the happiness that enables us to endure the hard work we have in our day-to-day work as stewards of this land. Also in the priestly office, and in the mission to establish the Kingdom of God.
Have a good laugh, enjoy the food and the drink. Have a good coffee, feel the cool winter breeze on a Sunday afternoon and warm up in the sun. Make the most of the good companies that are offered to you. These things are gifts from the Lord, and as the Bible itself says, they are reflections of true happiness, which holds us steady in our walk of love.
Rejoice in the simple things of life and enjoy the gifts that God, as a loving father, gives us.
Pp 4: 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say to you, Rejoice!

This is actually something that I am praying about doing. Waiting on the Lord
May God bless you all my good people.
And lestts pray for each other please and don’t leave others in trouble and let God be our comforter
First I must say, thank you for reminding me of these important issues. Slow down! Take a deep breath! Enjoy nature! Thank God for every little thing He gives us! Seek happiness only through Him, for that is where true happiness is found! Be a good friend to everyone you know! Consider EVERYONE as more important than you, just as Jesus did when He washed the apostles’ feet and held communion with them. How humble an act of love He performed for them AND us! Is there anything more humble? No! But, at the end of the day, don’t forget the Sabbath, for God created the earth in six literal days, and rested on the seventh. Why? To give us an example, to teach us a good and holy pattern, and to give us a blessing. He wants us to rest, to come apart from all of our weary work in the world to rest, honor, and worship Him, who is our Creator, God, and Heavennly King. And last, but certainly not least, the Sabbath is a gift from God to us. Therefore, we shouldn’t trample on the Sabbath because it is an appointed time that He has set aside for us, and we shouldn’t worship in any other day. “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.” Exodus 20: 8 – 11. This is also found in Deuteronomy ch 5, vs 12-14, because when something is important TO God and FOR God and is for OUR benefit, He always mentions it at least twice. And last, but certainly not least, the Sabbath is the seal of the living God.
Amen.
True happiness is being around people who love you. No material object can replace this love.

I love the Lord and He has been so good to me. He has always been there for me in times of my needs. He saves me from the evil devices of the devil. He gives me peace, joy and happiness. His love is infinite. My life will mean nothing without having Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. My hope and trust is in the Lord. He is my Rock. He fulfills all my heart desires. I will forever be grateful to my Lord. He has given me powers to perform miracles and to be President of Cameroon in the years to come. He has opened for me multi trillion dollar companies across the globe and has made me a blessing to nations. I Love You Lord. Thank You for never leaving nor forsaking me
Awesome! Much needed at this time, I agree and testify to this revelation and moments with our darling ABBA.
God bless you richly for sharing.
I love your simplicity of life n your elaborate explanation of simplicity of life. Keep up n thanks again
Truly it can be so simple, but sometimes we make it very difficult. Everything depends on how you look at life. When we think of the past it brings at times depression, when we think of the future it brings anxiety. So why not stay in the present, we could really enjoy it, and thank God we are in it.
Awesome.
It’s amazing how God just throws mere hints at you to guide you to the path in which he wants you to walk.
I’m so surprised and inspired about how this blog is talking exactly about the revelation I woke up with and prayed about this very morning. I haven’t even shared it with anyone because I was still questioning myself ngokuthi what it means.
It means exactly what I just read now. HALLELUJAH! 🙏🏽
I love this write up it filled in my spiritual life thanks
Glory to the Lord. God will lead us to do the right thing at the right time. He upholds us with His righteous right hand to our pre-destined destinies for His glory. Trust Him, no matter what. He is sovereign and rules over all creation as the creator of all creation. He is in us, with us and for us. We are complete in Him. Let us share His truth and His finished work on the cross with others, so that they too receive His salvation by grace through faith, and the fulness of Him as the only true God. Hallelujah!
Good on you mate, learn to pace yourself, it’s a lifetime journey not a short sprint.
John 10:10 Jesus came and made the more than abundant Life ( life in all it’s glory) available to those that believe and made him Lord
3 John:2 God desire for us to have a good journey in life not one that’s rushed.
Don’t burn yourself out, what good are we to serving the Father if we are wasted and weary. Then serving the Father become a burden instead of a joy with blessings.
Isa 40:31
Mat 11: 28,29
God bless you,young man.
Amen
