Have you ever thought about losing all the things we complain about?
If we were to lose our jobs because we complain about them, if we were denied access to places because of our complaints, or to people, situations, opportunities…
Complaining about something is often connected to a lack of appreciation for it, even if only for a brief moment. It’s when something irritates me to the point of blinding my eyes to the value it holds in my life.
Activate the faith.
“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance. Perseverance, character. And character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
Romans 5:3-5
Many times, we complain about storms and difficult situations. We forget that it is precisely these adversities that activate our faith and lead us to new levels with God.
It’s not about a bad life, but rather a challenging day, perhaps just a complicated hour that, if we dwell on for hours, can ruin the entire day. Then, we ruin weeks, months, and even years!
The reality is that we ourselves amplify the intensity of certain situations, create monsters when we are afraid, and when that feeling dissipates, and we find ourselves liberated from it, we look back and realize that those gigantic beings, which seemed to breathe fire, were actually just small insects.
Neutralize the pain.
I’m not here to diminish your pain, your difficult moment, your losses…
But I want to invite you to see the ‘whole’. Focusing on the big picture, with eyes of faith, reveals to us how small and easily resolved problems are in the face of God’s greatness.
We must see beyond. And by that, I’m not referring to staying in environments and relationships that have been toxic for you. At the first sign of that, you need to seek guidance from God and distance yourself from this space that will only bring you pain. However, sometimes it was just a difficult moment.
Things have the power that our mind gives them. Don’t allow your mind to strengthen the pains. Don’t focus on what just happened, but on the purpose of it in the future.
Never believe that one bad moment means your entire life is not worth it. As hard as it is in the midst of pain, don’t complain about the process, but fill yourself with hope for the purpose.
Reach the goal
“For we live by faith, not by sight.”
2 Corinthians 5:7
The storms and difficult moments were not made to diminish our expectations but for our faith to grow.
You were not called to be a slave to your past and your tough times, but to be a pioneer of your future, your dreams, and goals. God did not call you to observe what happens around you, but to design what will happen.
If our minds can give power to pain, our reaction to events has an even greater power to transform them into traumas. And we can reach the point of saying, ‘God, give me less than your plans for me, just get me out of here!’
But only those who endure the process live the purpose. Let your actions and words prophesy your life about your future. Encourage your spirit through the Holy Spirit of God. Do not complain or murmur, do not risk delaying the purpose by failing to see beauty, teaching, and growth in the process.
God wants to take you to new levels with Him, and if it hurts now, it means you are in the process so that it will never hurt in the same way again.
