Praying for physical and emotional healing

Praying for physical and mental healing

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Mark 16: 17-18 (KJV)

God has the power to heal, whether it be your physical or mental pain, and just as the Lord can heal you, he can use you to bless and intercede for others. Of course, we do not like to feel pain and we do not want those we love to go through afflictions, but many diseases come to us so that the glory of God may be manifested. So I invite you to pray with me for healing.

Remembering that you do not need to repeat the prayer exactly as I am going to leave it here, because each one of us has a specific way of communicating with the Lord. But if you want to accompany me, it will be a pleasure, feel free to speak your way.

Dear God, I want to thank You for Your grace and fidelity, I know that I am not worthy of anything and yet You Lord gave Your only Son to die for me, and I thank You for that.

Father, I am in a moment of pain and today I ask for the healing that comes from You, physical and emotional healing. I pray that I will get rid of all diseases, that every cell, blood vessel, organ and member of my body will receive Your healing touch. I also come to You to heal my emotions and my heart. Protect me from all evil and from any inflamed dart of the evil one.

Likewise, I pray for my family and friends who are sick, I know that you are the Doctor of doctors and You have the power to heal them. I also know that the Lord allows certain adversities in the lives of his servants for His glory to manifest, so help me to be like Job and to have an unshakable faith.

I pray that my thoughts and words reflect my gratitude to You, for taking care of me and I ask for forgiveness for the times I murmured. Give me patience to face this moment and do not allow my heart to harden.

It is in the name of Jesus that I pray and ask that my words reach you like a sweet perfume!

Prayer of a mere servant of God

O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed. My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long? Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake. For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies. Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping. The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer. Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

Psalms 6 (KJV)

God bless you!
