Prayer: Instruments of Praise

Prayer: Instruments of Praise

In the previous text, I discussed the daily decision to be someone through whom God is praised. Today, I invite you to pray with me about this, to become available and completely surrendered instruments, allowing God to work in our lives according to His will.

You don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to say here. I know that everyone has their way of talking to the Father, and it is important that we individually seek intimacy with Him. Therefore, feel comfortable talking to the Lord in your own way. But if you want, I will be happy to accompany you in this prayer.

Prayer

“Father, I acknowledge Your worthiness of all praise and worship, for everything in creation is under Your sovereignty, and all belongs to You.

I understand that my purpose is to praise You, and I desire to do so each day of my life, leading others to worship You in the same way. You are the source of all love and grace, and Your mercy continues to pour out upon me, even when undeserved.

Make me an instrument of praise. Shape my heart according to Your will, and may my hands be ready to carry out Your work, spreading the Gospel to every corner and drawing others closer to Your love and eternal Kingdom.

God, I no longer wish to live for my own desires, but I want my life to reflect who You are. I desire to love as You have loved me, to intercede for my neighbors, to exalt Your name in praise, and to follow in the footsteps of Jesus here on earth.

May every breath I take be a song of praise to Your name, and may my actions and lifestyle lead others to seek You. Help me to live in such a way that everything I do testifies to Your power.

Decrease my ego each day so that You may increase. I do not seek recognition, nor do I want my actions to come from myself, but from You, the source of all. Unite my spirit with Your Holy Spirit.

Grant me the courage to follow Your lead, even in the face of challenges. May my life be dedicated solely to exalting You.

Teach me to recognize Your voice and to follow it, acknowledging Your work in every aspect of my life. I desire to offer You praise even on the saddest and most weary days, to find You in every moment, even amidst the busyness of life.

May my worship not be confined to words alone, but overflow into actions of love, justice, and compassion, so that all may come to know and glorify Your name.

Enable me to be a true worshiper in spirit and in truth.

I thank You for every detail. In the name of Jesus, I pray, amen.”
