God is always enough!

God is always enough!

IT’S REAL: Regardless of the situation you’ve been living, know that God is enough!

Life is made up of many seasons. There are moments of great changes, in which cycles end, some people distance themselves not out of harm or anything, but because life has changed. There are times when we are waiting too long for something and it doesn’t happen. There are people who really want to get married, find a mate or a companion. There are people who have some professional or ministerial dream that has not yet come true. There are people who are hoping to have a child, but they can’t.

And often in these seasons we can feel incomplete. When we close a cycle,  we lose something or someone, we can feel incomplete. Or sometimes we are waiting for something so we feel complete.

But I want to tell you that even in these situations you are COMPLETE in Jesus!

He is the fountain of living water and the bread of life

Jesus answered and said to her, `Every one who is drinking of this water shall thirst again; but whoever may drink of the water that I will give him, may not thirst — to the age; and the water that I will give him shall become in him a well of water, springing up to life age-during.’John 4:13-14

And Jesus said to them, `I am the bread of the life; he who is coming unto me may not hunger, and he who is believing in me may not thirst — at any time;John 6:35

The Bible describes Jesus in several ways. One of them is that He is the source of living water, able to supply all our thirst. Another biblical term used to describe Jesus is that He is the bread of life, living bread that came down from heaven. He is the food capable of supplying all our emotional, spiritual and physical needs.

I recently heard the strong testimony of a young woman who, in the midst of one of the biggest crises in her life, was raised up by God to a strong ministerial call. Perhaps it was the situation in which she felt most weak and incomplete. But it was in the midst of this that she experienced the God of strength, who lifts, who supplies and who fills. Our being complete does not depend on something or someone, but on the presence of Christ in us.

Do not forget it!

Regardless of the season, we are complete in Jesus. I have been living for 2 years in a waiting room. That’s what I’ve been calling this phase. And despite being in this waiting room, desiring something so much, I have experienced God’s grace and realized that I don’t need this to happen in my life in order for me to be fulfilled and happy. JESUS have been enough and surprisingly have led me to experience special things in other areas of my life that I didn’t expect and never planned for. Even in a waiting room, I didn’t stop being complete. Because I am complete in Him. It is He who supplies me!

If He is with me, in the absence of anyone or in the absence of something very important, I am still complete.

Grace and peace!
