Access to salvation

Access to salvation

The word says that we must confess our sins and that, through this, He forgives us. But if He already knows everything before we even speak, why do we need to say?

He has the password

“According to His eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”

Ephesians 3:11-12

Salvation has been offered to us, but grasping it is in our hands. Jesus died for us and we now have full access to God, but if there is no movement from us, we are not saved. We need to receive Jesus! Do you know what I mean? It works for other areas as well. God won’t do anything if we don’t want to and if we don’t hand it over to Him.

I look at all of this like a bank account. Imagine that someone deposited a very high amount in an account that you don’t have access to, because you lost your password. This money deposited makes no difference in your life if you cannot access it. You will need to go to a bank to solve the access impasse.

God has already poured out His blessings. He has already given us His forgiveness and salvation. But the password to all of this is to position ourselves. We must desire all these things.

Trust to access

“If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.”

1 John 1:8,9

When we confess and surrender everything to God, we truly access all these blessings, because He is not a Father who invades, He is a Father who deposits and makes himself available to give us the key if we want access.

The death of Jesus allowed us to receive the Holy Spirit in our hearts, but if we do not give that Spirit the power to guide us, our path will remain the same and nothing will change.

If you think asking for forgiveness and giving it up won’t change anything, that’s not because God has diminished, but it shows that your faith needs to be fed. A lack of confidence in what He can do is not because of Him not doing it, but because of our failure to surrender and place our mistakes and pains before the Father.

The key to something bigger

“And these are but the outer fringe of his works. How faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”

Job 26:14

Do you realize that in all the subjects I bring up, the basis is to surrender everything to God? Everything comes from this delivery and devotion. Everything is born from the ability we have to go to Him. Even without strength, even feeling like we’re crawling, the important thing is to find ourselves with Him. From there, everything comes naturally.

He is with you and you need not question His presence. But are you with Him? That’s what you need to ask yourself daily.

When we are in Him, we understand and fear His power. Everything we’ve ever heard of the Father, as said in Job’s text, is still just a piece of what He can do. He can do infinitely more. He has the power to take us further, to do something even greater and to make us go higher.

Don’t feel that what you are going through is bigger than God. Don’t value your pain and mistakes more than you should. Their size is the size you put in them.

God is giving you the password to something much bigger and better, to eternal salvation and forgiveness. Access this account and trust the power of Him who deposited into it.
